It appears the rumored October 28th launch date for Android 4.4 (Kitkat) and Nexus 5 could be true! The 16GB Nexus 5 has been listed on the Google Play Store, with a price of $349! nexus-5-pricing

The page was pulled over the weekend, but it was already too late as a number of sites like Android Authority were able to take screen shots and report the slip. With the Nexus 5 16GB running $349 we can assume that the 32GB version will be $399 or higher. What else has leaked out about the Google Nexus 5 in recent weeks?

Images of the upcoming smartphone’s retail packaging were posted on a Korean site named UnderKG. The purported images show both a white and dark grey or black version for the Nexus 5.

This comes on top of the hardware and software specifications that leaked on the Nexus 5 smartphone when a service manual published earlier this month by Android Police. That document was quickly removed after LG requested it to be removed, so it is likely real.
