Google looking at TV advertising with GoogleTV division

Google has been making progress with their ad services in recent months and is now eyeing television as a possible advertising market. Google has recently moved into print advertising and began with online ad services with the ever popular Google AdSense program.

Google Inc., the most-used search engine, is seeking to hire a manager who will apply its search and advertising technology to television, a sign the company’s ambitions extend beyond the Internet. Google is looking for an individual to oversee search and advertising technologies, called GoogleTV, that will ”enhance users’ television viewing experience,” according to a job posting at Google’s Web site.
