Gigabyte Ultra Durable Overclocked AMD Radeon HD 7970 Now Official

Gigabyte Technology has officially added the AMD Radeon HD 7970 Ultra Durable VGA to its website. The GV-R797OC-3GD features an industry standard dual-slot heatsink design utilizing 3 fans with triangle cool technology. Gigabyte has also used its 2oz copper PCB design indicative of the Ultra Durable brand. They have also seen fit to use Tier 1 memory, Japanese Solid Capacitors with Ferrite Core Chokes and Low RDS (on) MOSFET to round out the changes. The Gigabyte Ultra Durable AMD Radeon HD 7970 will come clocked at 1000MHz core with the memory left at stock 5500MHz. Pricing for the Gigabyte Ultra Durable Radeon HD 7970 is currently unavailable.
