G.SKILL Shows Off DDR4-5200 16GB At Computex 2019

G.SKILL has a kit of Trident Z Royal DDR4 memory running at a blistering 5200MHz with timings of CL18-22-22-42. The company informed us that this is the fastest dual-channel memory kit on live display at Computex 2019. G.SKILL had the live demo running on a system powered by an Intel Core i7-9700KF processor on an MSI MPG Z390I GAMING EDGE AC motherboard. The memory kit was running Samsung B-die ICs. We hope G.SKILL bought up a bunch of these chips as Samsung recently announced that 8Gb B-die components are going End of Life (EOL) here in 2Q 2019 in their most recent product guide.

G.SKILL also had another demo that is worth mentioning at Computex 2019 and that would be their 384GB (32GBx12) DDR4 4000MHz memory kit. This insane memory kit was demonstrated on a system powered by an Intel Xeon W-3175X processor and ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme motherboard. Timings were being run at a respectable CL18-30-30-45 on this crazy dense memory kit aimed at content creators pushing the bleeding edge of computing.
