Fortnite has been in the news a lot lately as people are flocking to the game. It has certainly stolen some of PUBG’s thunder. Perhaps the biggest streamer in the game is a dude called Ninja. His real name is Tyler Blevins and he is making serious money as a video game streamer.

Blevins recently had an interview with CNBC and shared details on just how much money he is making. How much you ask? The dude is raking in $500,000 MONTHLY. Ninja credits much of his income Amazon and Twitch Prime subscribers. However, he also has a lot of subscribers on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter reports PC Gamer.

Ninja said, “The combination of all those things is really where the collected revenues is coming from. This deal that Amazon Prime and Twitch Prime have together is incredible. Twitch Prime allows people to claim loot and collect loot with specific games, and they recently did a deal with Fortnite, which is the hottest game right now, and that is actually one of the main reasons of influx of subscribers to my stream.”

Ninja does have some sage advice for all the gamers out there looking to follow in his footsteps- keep working. “All the kids out there, you can’t just drop everything and focus on playing videogames for a living. It’s also becoming a very competitive career choice right now, and you want to make sure you’re securing your future and putting in the extra time to try to make this happen as well.”
