eVGA 7600 GS 512MB Bundle

EVGA 7600 GS

EVGA bundles this card with the standard fair, we see the owners manual and driver disk on the left in a small folder. I like this approach as most of the other manufacturers tend to leave it all floating about in the box. This keeps it all together not only in the package but out of the box as well! Without the folder most of us invariably lose one piece of documentation or another, which is no good in the event you need support and you managed to lose the warranty information. The card also comes bundled with an S-Video style adapter than can be used as such, or can utilize the component RGB cable allowing you to get your frags on a high-def TV or projector. Since it has a VGA connector, the card ships with a DVI to VGA adapter in case your monitor does not have a VGA connector.

EVGA backs the 7600 GS 512MB and all of the other video cards that they sell with a limited lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects as long as the video card is registered within 30 days of purchase. EVGA has a very liberal policy on aftermarket heatsinks, as long as there is no damage to any part of the card you can use whatever cooling youd like and still be able to return it if the card is defective. EVGA also offers the truly unique, Step-Up program. The Step-Up program allows you to purchase, say a 8800 GTS today from the EVGA site, and then trade up for an 8800 GTX within 90-days. Your 8800 GTS does not lose any value, so what you paid is what you would receive towards the 8800 GTX, you only have to pay the difference! I took advantage of the Step-Up program when the 6800 GT and 6800 Ultra were the top dogs and can say that the program is great! For more information visit the Step-Up information page.
