Dell does not renew Samsung as their ODM notebook client

Now that the 4-year contract that Dell and Samsung had is over Samsung it looks like Dell is moving on when it comes to ODM’s to make their notebooks. Samsung Electronics will now sadly lose its only contract notebook client, Dell. It seems as if Dell is still going to work with Quanta Computer to build their notebooks.
Samsung currently makes Dell?s high-end ultralight 12.1-inch Latitude X1 model, but the US vendor has awarded Quanta Computer the contracts for the Latitude X1?s follow-up models, the sources said.
