Google and Dell unveiled new enterprise-grade Chromebooks this week, marking the first Chromebook Enterprise devices to launch. The machine is the Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Chromebook Enterprise and the Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook Enterprise. The former is a 13-inch machine, and the latter is a 14-inch machine.

They can be fitted with up to 8th gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The hardware isn’t a big deal with these machines; it’s the software side of things says Techspot.

Google says the new machines have multi-layered security to protect users from threats and allow IT admins to provision the machines, monitor them, and lockdown devices. Admins can also ensure regular and controlled updates with Dell Technologies Unified Workspace.

The machines will come with ten different localized keyboards and have a 24/7 year-round ProSupport along with Chrome Enterprise support. The devices will go on sale on today with the 5400 starting at $699 and the 5300 for $819.
