Deepcool’s New MF120 Fan Set Offers RGB Control Over WiFi

Deepcool is no stranger to manufacturing cooling components for the PC, starting business all the way back in 1996 and since then releasing a lineup of computer cases, AIO coolers, fans and more. Today, Deepcool announced the release of their new MF120 Smart RGB Fan Set, which features an aluminum skeleton frame design with custom RGB grills that can be controlled with a Smart phone over wifi. These fans are interesting looking, with an exposed blade design that lacks any material around the side of the blades. The Deepcool MF120 fan specifications are stated to be 56 CFM with a 38 dBA sound rating, but they didn’t provide any static pressure figures in their specifications.

It is cool, no pun intended, to see manufacturers adopting WiFi control into their RGB fans. What would be really awesome is if Deepcool worked with app developers to make these fans voice compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa. Hey Google, make my PC go full unicorn! DEEPCOOL, the company that specialises in feature rich cases and cooling systems for the PC enthusiast has just introduced an exciting new smart fan set featuring frameless fans with RGB lighting and a WIFI compatible controller.

The Deepcool MF120 fan set includes three fans with vibration damping capabilities, and also gets a front side features a seamless all-in one skeleton frame made with 100% aluminum alloy. Its unique frameless design together with double-layer blade can generate positive air pressure and deliver maximum airflow with zero hindrance from the fan structure. The PWM fans can be active between a silent 500 rpm up-to a hefty 2200rpm. These are Fluid Dynamic Bearing fans.

Deepcool MF120 is also a smart fan and its controller can be connected via WIFI to a users smartphone (Apple/Android) to control fan speed and lighting modes, including a number of preset options. A built-in 1.67 Million true color RGB lighting system is controlled by the dedicated multi-function controller. Five built in lighting effects (dynamic, static, breathing, comet, and fashion collision) provide 36 interchangeable lighting modes.
