D-Link Goes Extreme with Ultra Wi-Fi 802.11ax Routers at CES 2018

D-Link Systems AX11000 RouterToday at CES 2018, D-Link announced two brand new Ultra Wi-Fi routers, the AX 6000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-X6060) and the AX110000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-X9000). Both of these routers are designed to give us throughput speeds we have never seen before in consumer-level Wi-Fi performance. With more throughput comes more support for high-speed devices in the home so D-Link has outfitted both of these routers with multiple band transceivers and Multi-Gig capable LAN to deliver blinding speeds both wired and wireless. The dual-band AX6000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router delivers combined speeds of up to 6,000 Mbps, and the tri-band AX110000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router serves up speeds of 11,000 Mbps.

We had a chance to get our hands on both the AX6000 and AX11000 during CES 2018 and noted that each router was Multi-Gig ready with one 2.5 Gbps WAN ports along with four Gigabit LAN ports. Both supported 4×4 MU-MIMO with 8 high performance antennas.
