Kingston v series 188GB PCMarkVantage

PCMark Vantage v1.01 measures the performance of the latest PC hardware across a variety of common scenarios. PCMark Vantage supports both system level and component level benchmarking and comprises several different test suites but for the purposes of this review, we stuck with just the HDD suite. The nice thing about PCMark Vantage is that you can submit your scores online and compare against others.

Benchmark Results: The Corsair Force drive did very well in the PCMark Vantage benchmark. The Force drive soundly dominates all the other reference drives in this benchmark.

READ Performance Testing:

Corsair Force SANDRA READ

WRITE Performance Testing:

Corsair Force SANDRA WRITE
SANDRA GRID

Benchmark Results: Hitting over 263.MB/s again with the reads is just over the SF-1200 specifications from Sandforce. This controller is looking to be very good. The writes here look a bit schizophrenic but we see this a lot on the Sandra write benchmark. The average of 216MB/s is a little below what we have been seeing but every benchmark is a little different, which is why we perform a variety of them. Taking the sum of the parts is the best indicator of performance.
