Cooler Master Storm Sirus 5.1 Headset

If I told you that there was a magic genie in a bottle that could help you own the masses on every game server that you played on would you fork out any amount of money to have that advantage? Of course we all would; that’s the reason we game in the first place, to win. Now what if I told you that there was a killer new headset that has all of the makings of said genie in a bottle? With speakers going the way of things like the record or the cassette tape, when it comes to gaming we are all turning to high end headsets to help give us that extra advantage. But regular 2.0 headsets aren’t enough to keep that advantage anymore; now we need to have 5.1 or 7.1 surround so that we can immerse ourselves into our gaming environment as if we were the actual combatants. We need to hear the sounds that surround us, we need to have the ability to communicate with our team mates as well as our enemies.

Cooler Master Storm Sirus 5.1 Headset Packaging

The Cooler Master Storm Sirus 5.1 Headset was built from the ground up to be a gaming headset for hardcore games and was also made to please the audiophile in all of us. This not one of those headsets that calls itself 5.1 surround and uses software to emulate the experience of a surround environment. Nope, this is the real deal. Each ear cup is fitted with 4 speakers for a total of 8 discrete speaker channel pairs. Each individual ear cup houses 3 30 MM drivers and a 40 MM driver that acts as the sub woofer. This gives you full blown 360 degree surround audio. On top of that all of the speaker pairs can be individually adjusted via the tactical mixing console, or via a 5.1 surround sound card if you so choose to use one.
