Cisco Buys Network Storage Developer NeoPath

Cisco says it has agreed to acquire closely-held NeoPath, a file management and network storage developer.
The deal gives Cisco more file server technology to beef up its storage and data infrastructure product offerings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. NeoPath is based in Santa Clara, Calif. Cisco says it expects to close the transaction by the end of April.
