Razer has announced a brand new 27-inch Raptor Gaming Monitor designed to take you to the top of your esport game of choice. Outfitted with fast response rates, HDR support, built-in cable management, and Razer Chroma integration, the $699 (MSRP) Razer Raptor looks to catch the eye of gamers around the world.
While the desktop screen introduced at CES 2019 this week is an early-design-phase model, production units are scheduled for release later this year. The monitor is designed to deliver ultra-wide viewing angles with calibrated WQHD (2560×1440) IPS edge-to-edge panel with thin 2.3 mm bezels. The Raptor will also feature AMD Radeon FreeSync adaptive sync technology with fast response times featuring 1 ms Motion Blur reduction and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, ensuring fluid frames while gaming.
Razer product engineers tell us that the Razer Raptor will offer a variety of input ports for connectivity for various devices including 1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x USB-C which includes power delivery, and 2 x USB-A 3.1 ports making connection issues a thing of the past!
We look forward to seeing the final production model as it comes to us later in the year.
