CES 2009: NVIDIA, OLEDs and D-Link Sidestage

Pepcom and Western Digital

Pepcom has always been able to pull together a great event right before CES for Registered Press to get a better opportunity to talk with vendors. We scoured the booths and found yet more great products, even a few requested by our own forum members!

This year Pepcom put on a 1950’s Diner theme with girls on rollerskates and hoola-hoops handing out swag.

WD recently introduced the My Passport for Mac portable drive and we managed to see one tonight at the Pepcom event. Pre-formatted for Mac and offering a simple USB interface, these drives offer the ever-growing Mac community reliable, easy-to-use storage. WDs latest Mac-ready drives work seamlessly with Apple Time Machine or other popular Mac backup software to provide protection for consumers valuable digital photos and media. My Passport for Mac portable storage devices feature a sleek design in a shock-resistant enclosure and are available in capacities of 320 GB and 500 GB. MSRP for My Passport for Mac with 320 GB is $129.99 USD and $179.99 for 500 GB.
