Building Web sites for small businesses for free

By

DigitalWork, a Chicago company dedicated to small businesses, has set up a Web site that lets non-techies create their own Web sites free. The site is limited to four pages and 100 photos, but comes ad free. Can’t beat free!

The site, www.ZoomShare.com, enables anyone who knows how to do word processing to set up the site, as long as his or her computer has the latest Web browser updates. The user creates a user name and password, names his new Web site and chooses from a variety of templates for its format. He can open the page, write copy, post logos and digital photos, create a blog and choose to be listed in ZoomShare’s community and classified-ad sections.
