Best Buy Still Selling Chromecasts w/ Netflix Promotion – Good Luck Buying More Than One

By

As you already know, Best Buy is the only retailer licensed to sell Chromecast by Google. They have been sold out since day one and they are no longer accepting orders. This means your best bet is to contact your local Best Buy and asking if any will be on the next merchandise delivery truck. It would be nice if Best Buy would let you order it online for in store pickup, but that is not the case.

We found out our store was getting six delivered today and stopped in trying to get our hands on some. We tried to order more than one since we have multiple TVs and found out that from the acting store manager that the new Best Buy corporate policy is only one Chromecast per person. After a small argument and the refusal of showing us the said ‘confidential’ policy, the we walked away with a pair of devices. It looks like our local Best Buy store was unhappy with people selling them for profit on Ebay, but even after giving them our business card they were reluctant to sell us two. It turns out the real and not made up policy is two per customer. Hard to believe that a store would turn you down on something that is full priced and you have cash ready to buy it! The good news is that Best Buy is still offering the Netflix promotion that is sold out on Amazon and Google Play. Just a heads up to all those out there still trying to find a way to buy one and want would like to get the Netflix promotion.
