By

ASUS today launched the ROG PCI-Express based SSD called the RAIDR. This PCIe SSD has two separate SSDs on the same PCB, connected in RAID0 for maximum performance. The ASUS ROG RAIDR comes is available in just one size, which is 240GB. It uses dual LSI SandForce SF-2281 processors with 19nm Toshiba MLC Sync-NAND Flash. ASUS speed rates the sequential performance at 830MB/s read and 810MB/s write. It also has up to 100,000 4K read/write IOPS (Input/Output operations Per Second)! This is a very fast drive!
