Overclocking the Asus EN8600 GTS

With similar performance across the board to the other 8600GTS cards in our tests we were determined to get more performance out of our Asus card.

After firing up ATI Tool I found that I was able to match the overclock we got from our other reference samples, but could not go any higher. At 100Mhz core overclock it’s still impressive and shows how consistent the reference cards are designed and implemented.

We are rewarded in our overclocking efforts with a nice bit of extra performance. For 15 minutes of our time we have increased our playable results and didn’t compromise system stability…not bad!!
