Apple iPhone 6 To Debut September 9th

It appears that Apple will be holding a media event on September 9th and at that event Apple could launch the iPhone 6. Judging by past releases, the Apple iPhone 6 could then go on sale to the public from Friday, September 19th. The news comes from Re/code, which often has accurate information about Apple launch dates. The Apple iPhone 6 is expected to feature larger displays of 4.7 and 5.5 inches and run speedy new A8 processors. Previous Apple SoCs, the A4 through A7, were manufactured by Samsung foundries. The A8, though, will be manufactured by TSMC. The A8 is said to be much faster, but the final benchmarks will determine by how much. Apple, has asked manufacturing partners to produce 70 million to 80 million units of its larger screen iPhones by December 30, The Wall Street Journal reported last month.
