Anthem Closed Alpha Kicks Off in December

EA has been talking up its upcoming blockbuster game Anthem for a while now. The publisher has announced that the alpha testing period for Anthem will start in December. The specific start date for the alpha will be December 8 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The closed testing event lasts for a single day, and EA warns people who can participate that BioWare will be adjusting matchmaking and server load on the fly. That means the event will be “more limited than what we want to share in the pre-launch demos.”

If you want to participate, you need to sign up for the EA Community Playtest program by December 3 here. While the alpha is offered on all platforms, you can only sign up to play on one device reports Eurogamer.

Multiple play sessions will be held over the two day closed alpha event. Anthem is currently set to launch on February 22. BioWare is also teasing new Dragon Age stuff in the works.
