The business class device provides up to 8,000 square feet of extended Wi-Fi coverage and is designed for complex networks that demand long range coverage, high performance Wi-Fi speeds and advanced security features. The REB175P is equipped with a premium feature set that makes it ideal for the most unique of networks.
The ProSeries REB175P is equipped with 12 high power amplifiers and three high gain external antennas for up to 500mW of Wi-Fi output power (standard Wi-Fi devices feature 100mW of output power). This combination of Amped Wireless High Power technology and blazing-fast AC1750 Wi-Fi technology delivers unmatched range and speed performance. The Range Extender / Bridge is assembled with the highest quality components and tested under the strictest standard to ensure reliability and performance under demanding business environments.
The Pro Series High Power AC1750 Range Extender / Bridge is a multifaceted device and features 4 different modes; Universal Range Extender Mode to extend the range of any network, Firewall Range Extender Mode to secure an extended network with firewall settings, Bridge Mode and WDS-Bridge mode for extending a WDS-AP network. Firewall Range Extender Mode is a unique feature that allows businesses to extend the range and coverage of a network while providing firewall based security between the source network and extended network.
The ProSeries Extender / Bridge supports advanced security features with the ability to connect to a source network and provide up to 30 extended Wi-Fi networks, each with unique security and access configurations. Each Wi-Fi network features smart security features that allow for the isolation of connecting devices, bandwidth restrictions, network access restrictions, VLANs (available in Firewall Range Extender mode), max users settings, MAC filtering, access schedules and much more. The two gigabit ports on the REB175P are also equipped with customized VLAN settings and bandwidth controls. Intrusion detection systems and RADIUS servers, internal and external, are also provided for maximum security (Firewall Range Extender Mode Only).
Deploying the ProSeries High Power Extender / Bridge is simple with Power over Ethernet support, and magnetic and wall based mounting options.
