“Demand for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) high-end socket-939 Athlon 64 processors has been greater than expected in the local sales channel, causing a tight supply in the market, according to market sources.

Processors in shortage include the Athlon 64 3500+ and Athlon 64 3800+ parts, as well as the mainstream and entry-level Athlon 64 3200+ and Athlon 64 3000+, according to sources at AMD Taiwan.”
