AMD Releases Radeon R9 Fury X Benchmarks

By

AMD has released 4K gaming performance benchmarks for the Radeon R9 Fury X 4GB HMB1 video card. The results show that the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X will indeed be faster than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti when tested at 4K Ultra HD resolutions. The games tested include Assassins Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Crysis 3, Thief, Bioshock Infinite, Batman Arkham Origins, Hitman Absolution, Shadow of Mordor, Sleeping Dogs, and Battlefield 4.

AMD Radeon R9 Fury X performance

It appears that the AMD R9 Fury X was able to lead every single game title and it looks like they averaged frame-rates of at least 35 fps. Our AMD Radeon R9 Fury X benchmarks will be released on June 24th. The AMD Radeon R9 Fury X will be priced at $649.99, which just happens to be the same exact price as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti. It looks like have ‘just’ 4GB of memory on the Radeon R9 Fury X still is enough for it to outperfom the GeForce GTX 980 Ti with 6GB of memory. It will be interesting to see how the two compare in an SLI versus CrossFire battle, but then again how many people can stuff in two Radeon R9 Fury X video cards with the two 120mm water coolers in their case that likely already has a water cooler for the CPU!
