AMD FX-Series Processors Clock Speeds Announced

DonanimHaber has posted up a table listing all of the upcoming AMD FX-series processors that is worth taking a closer look at today. According to the table AMD’s FX-series consists of eight-core FX-81xx parts, six-core FX-61xx, and quad-core FX-41xx parts that are all based on 32nm ‘Zambezi’ core architecture. The site also believes that all of the FX series chips have unlocked multipliers in order to give consumers the ability to easily overclock them. As you likely already know, these chips come in the AM3+ package and will only work on AMD 990FX motherboards for the timing being. It looks like that AMD FX-8150 will be the flagship processor at launch. This processor has a clock speed of 3.6 GHz, and a TurboCore speed of 4.2 GHz. The next fastest processor is the FX-8120 with a base clock of 3.1GHz and a boost clock of 4GHz.

AMD FX Bulldozer CPU Clock Speeds

AMD’s 6-core processors will be the fastest is the FX-6120 but not yet identified the final rates for AMD this model. The fastest second runs in the series is 2.1 GHz and 2.4 GHz model, so there will be an FX-6100 model automatically. 8-core processors, quad-core AMD Bulldozer FX family that the weight of two model faster which FX-4120 model has not yet time for decision to the final rates. Everything is slower, since the net for FX-4100 model has been working in 3.6 GHz and 2.4 GHz.
