AMD aims to gain back 15% share of notebook market

AMD has set an internal guidance to gain back a 15% share of the global notebook market, according to sources at notebook vendors.
The company’s next-generation Tigris platform has already landed orders from Hewlett-Packard (HP), Toshiba, Acer and Asustek Computer, with notebooks to launch in Asia in September 2009, followed by North America, Europe, the Middle-East and Africa in October.
