AMD A10-6800K APU Overclocked to 8.2 GHz – New World Record
By
Finnish overclockers have always been tough competitors when it comes to overclocking, so it shouldn’t come as a shock to many that the ‘The Stilt’ set a new world record for the highest APU clock frequency.
He used the AMD A10-6800K APU, ASUS F2A85-V Pro motherboard and liquid nitrogen to reach 8.2GHz on the AMD A10-6800K APU. The exact frequency was 8203.01 MHz! Thanks to liquid nitrogen cooling he was able to use a CPU voltage of 1.968V, a bus clock of 130.21 MHz and a multiplier of 63. Not too bad and you can see he record breaking run on the Hwbot.org online database here.
