Overclocking The 8600 GTS

Armed with ATI tool I wanted to see just how well this 8600 GTS from Albatron would overclock.

As you can see we reached a very impressive 100MHz overclock on the core but we weren’t able to get the memory any higher than the default 2GHz.

In the shader intensive Rainbox Six: Vegas we see the extra speed pay off by passing up our XFX 8600 GTS XXX edition card!
