ADATA Introduces XPG Gaming v2.0 Series DDR3 2600MHz Memory
ADATA today announced that the company has started shipping its 8GB 2600MHz DDR3 memory modules in the XPG Gaming v2.0 Series. These dual channel kits are designed and engineered to bring optimum performance to third generation Intel Core processors and the Z77 platform and likely the upcoming Intel Z87 platform and Intel Haswell processors. The 2600MHz memory modules feature CL11-13-13-35 timings and need 1.65V to hit such high speeds. ADATA says that at 2600MHz a 16GB kit (2x 8GB) of these modules running on the Intel Z77 platform should be able to reach nearly 21GB/s of memory bandwidth.
With speed up to 2600Mbps (2600MHz), and transfer bandwidth reaching 20,800 MB/s, the XPG series once again pushes gaming to the next level. The modules support Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) version 1.3, and use ADATAs renowned Thermal Conductive Technology (TCT), combined with 2oz copper 8-layer printed circuit board, for superior heat dissipation. To further ensure reliability, a screw-lock mechanism improves cooling efficiency for long-term use. All XPG gaming modules are RoHS compliant, and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
