Introducing the Shift MMO Gaming Keyboard

SteelSeries Shift

SteelSeries, a global leader in professional gaming products, recently sent Legit Reviews the SteelSeries Shift keyboard for testing and feedback.  Although the Shift keyboard has been out for several months, SteelSeries has continued to advance the line with the introduction of various Keysets, or overlays, that provide a gamer with a customized look and feel that no other keyboard can provide.  You can buy the base model online starting at about $90.00 or a specific model with a World of Warcraft, Starcraft II or Medal of Honor Keyset for a few dollars more.

After looking over the hardware specifications, it is clear that SteelSeries was making the Shift to be highly customizable and long lasting.  According to SteelSeries, the keys have a 15 million keystroke lifecycle which is one of the highest I’ve seen for a gaming keyboard of this type.  Also, every key on the Shift can be reprogrammed, allowing the Shift to morph into whatever the gamer can imagine.
