The system that we have for review today is called the “LANShark.” As you can see on the side here, two Great White sharks have been airbrushed onto the clear acrylic case, along with a surfer babe and the waves. The blue backdrop for the water is actually a wrap on the inside of the case and is not painted.
In every nook and cranny we can find, Smooth Creations has worked to put the looks of this case on another level. We’ll detail the hardware on the next page but everything you see here is something that you could build yourself, so it’s important to set it off with a custom appearance.
In this close up of the shark (pardon the flash), you can see just how much detail goes into the air brush work on the case.
On the inside we see a cover over almost all of the cabling. This is a great addition and helps keep the interior of the system looking clean; you only see the cables when you are at these crazy angles.
Smooth Creations has gone to great lengths here to keep things clean.
Now that we’ve covered the work done to make this case visually appealing, let’s get some more details on what hardware makes up a LANShark.
