Cooler Master Expands Their MasterCase Line-Up

At Computex 2016, Cooler Master presented a glimpse of their latest innovations that will be expanding their modular maker case system. LegitReviews previously took a look at the MasterCase 5, their first case based on their modular case system.

Here’s what Cooler Master has to say about their MasterCase system:

“MasterCase with the FreeFormTM Modular System are creating more avenues for individual choice and expression as more towers fill out the MasterCase, MasterCase Pro and flagship MasterCase Maker lines. A full range of sizes has now appeared as well as new outlooks for simplicity and expression. On top of the modular frame, a growing ecosystem of swappable MasterAccessories and MakerMade Accessories can be used to customize the exterior and adjust the interior layout. The second version of Cooler Masters innovation platform, MasterConcept 2.0, has made strides towards a completely modular case that has no defined form or function other than that created by its user. The MasterBox line, a trimmer case featuring internal expandability and layout flexibility, has also expanded with a mini-tower and new mid-tower colors and outlooks.”

The MasterCasePro 3 is a smaller version of their MasterCase 5, designed for MicroATX builds. I am hearing that this might be the first of the new cases to hit the market.

The MasterCase 4 looks to be a Micro-ATX version of Cooler Master’s new MasterCase 6.

The MasterCase 5T brings some refinements to the MasterCase 5, and provides a two-tone color scheme using Red as an accent color.

The MasterCase 6 is a new Mid-Tower case designed to support up to ATX motherboards, it has a slightly more refined look to it.

When we took a look at the MasterCase 5 last year, there were few options available to customize the case. Cooler Master has expanded that and now has two types of custom add-ons; “Master Made” which are designed and manufactured by Cooler Master, and “Maker Made” which are add-ons that are designed by third-parties. For the currently available MasterCase 5 series, they have several add-ons available.

Tempered Glass Side Panel $49.99
Top Cover Kit with Magnetic Grip $24.99
Cooling Bracket for MasterCase $9.99
Silencio FP 140PWM with Red LED $19.99

HDD Cage 2-Bay $12.99
