Kingston SSD Destructo Series Episode 1 – Baseball

Kingston Technology joked around about doing a series of viral videos that show off how tough solid State Drives (SSDs) are by doing crazy things with them. It looks like they took the marketing idea and made it into reality as they have posted “Kingston SSD Destructo Series Episode 1 – Baseball” up on YouTube. In the video clip one of the Kingston engineers takes a wood baseball bat and gets a 256GB Kingston SSDNow V+ Series drive pitched to him. He takes a Babe Ruth swing at it and well, you can find out the rest by watching the crazy video below. We reviewed this drive in 2009 and found that it was a great drive that still retails for over $700!
