Kingston First to Ship 2133MHz Memory for Intel Core i5 Platform

Kingston Technology today announced it is leading the charge in memory support for Intel’s new LGA1156 Core i5 and Core i7 systems by shipping super-fast 2133MHz HyperX running at a low 1.65 volts. The XMP-ready Kingston 4GB dual-channel 2133MHz CL8 kit is the perfect choice for ultra-enthusiasts who are ready to take the Intel Core i5 platform to the next level of memory overclocking performance. Kingston is shipping a family of XMP-ready HyperX products in different frequencies to support users of all levels who want to take full advantage of the Core i5 platform. Available in e-tail since late August, HyperX memory running at 1.65 volts are shipping in 4GB kits at 1333-, 1600-, 2000- and 2133MHz frequencies. In late September, Kingston will launch 8GB kits of two in 1333- and 1600MHz frequencies for users who wish to take advantage of 64-bit operating systems.
