It seems name recognition can be a definite selling tool! Grisoft is changing their name to AVG Technologies. AVG(Anti Virus by Grisoft) is one of the most recognized names on the internet for Anti Virus Software!
GRISOFT, developer of AVG virus-busting software and the like is to change its name.
While few have heard of Grisoft, more have heard of AVG it seems, so Grisoft is out and AVG Technologies is in.
