Fallout 76 Patch Lands Today

By

If you are playing Fallot 76 and have seen annoying issues with the game, a new patch is due out today to address some of them. The patch lands five days after launch and promises fixes for various issues and upgrades to some functionality. Among the upgrades coming in the patch is a push-to-talk chat feature reports Polygon.

There are some key upgrades players want that aren’t coming in the update. One of them is a slider for field-of-vision with that marked as coming soon. Other “coming soon” upgrades include support for ultrawide 21:9 monitors and stash box capacity increase. The latter is one of the key fixes that players have been asking for.

The reason that upgrade isn’t coming right now is that Bethesda says that the limit right now is there for technical reasons to cap the number of items that the game has to track. Bethesda thinks it has a way to increase this, but it is taking its time on rolling out the update.

The patch will address fixes for quests, the user interface, and CAMPs. Other vague “exploits” will be patched here as will an issue with the hunger meter.
