PUBG Desert Map Miramar Gets New R45 Revolver To Replace R1895 Revolver

NVIDIA announced a new weapon for the upcoming desert map in PLAYERUNKNOWNS BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) today on GeForce.com. The R45 revolver will be available when PUBG v1.0 launches, later this month. The new R45 can be looted only on the new desert map that is named Miramar as a world spawn weapon. The R45 will be the replacement for the R1895 revolver from Erangel map which will not be in Miramar.

The new R45 is a six-shot revolver that is chambered for the games .45 ACP ammunition and comes with a speed loader. The built-in speed loader allows you to load all six rounds simultaneously, greatly accelerating reload times over the original R1895 pistol . Unlike the R1895 it replaces, the R45 will not support a suppressor, though you will be able to add a red dot sight to improve your aim. You can try out the R45 on the test servers tomorrow when they go live with the new desert map.

PUBG Win94 Rifle

Another new weapon that was revealed today is the Win94 rifle. It’s a world spawn item and also exclusive to the desert map.
