USS Dragon-1 Gaming PC Looks Like a Star Trek Shuttle

If you are a fan of Star Trek and gaming PCs, you will love this custom gaming PC dubbed the USS Dragon-1. The chassis that the hardware is inside looks like a Star Trek shuttle. I love to see the finished product of a custom PC build project, but I always like to see just how the build came together as well.

This particular custom gaming PC has a build video that follows the build of the machine by Stefan Ulrich of Random Design reports PC Gamer. Building this machine required lots of elbow grease, screws, plaster, and other items. The hardware crammed inside that cool chassis is pretty nice to boot.

The mainboard is a MSI Z270 Gaming M7, the GPU is a MSI GTX 980 Ti Lightning, the CPU is an Intel i7 6700K, and the machine has 32GB of HyperX Predator DDR4 RAM. Storage is via a HyperX Savage 240GB SSD, the power supply is an Enermax Revolution SFX 650W, and the fans are Enermax D.F. Vegas.

I really like how the lights under the chassis pulse and flicker, it looks very cool, like impulse engines working. Most of the main cooling inside the PC is via liquid. The build is based on the shuttle type 99 according to Stefan.
