Danger Zone for PC and PS4 is All About Car Crashes
A new game is on its way called Danger Zone and if you loved that sweet Crash Mode in Burnout 3, you will love Danger Zone. The entire game is dedicated to 3D car crashing and destruction. The game will launch next month for PC and PS4 gamers and sell for $12.99. The game is by Three Fields Entertainment, the same people who created Burnout founded the new studio, and is seen as a spiritual successor to Crash Mode in Burnout 3.
The game is powered by the Unreal Engine and combined physical crashes with lots of explosions. Vehicles can be shunted into oncoming traffic and trailers can be taken down forcing their payloads onto the roads. The game features an explosive SmashBreaker to move the vehicle around and the more stuff you blow up, the more money you make.
Danger Zone has a single player mode with over 20 crash testing scenarios and a connected leaderboard that allows you to compare your performance between friends and the entire world. There will be no multiplayer for Danger Zone at launch, but if the game is successful Alex Ward, co-founder of Three fields Entertainment, says they will add multiplayer.
The developers say that the reason it has no multiplayer at the start is money. Their team is too small to work on something so ambitious right off the bat. They plan to use money made from the game, assuming it’s popular, to potentially add features down the road reports Playstationlifestyle.
