NVIDIA has announced that it has added a new GPU to its Prepare for Battle Bundle. The new GPU that is now in the bundle is the GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. This GPU slots into the bundle line up along with the GTX 1070, 1080, and 1080Ti GPUs already available. The bundle gets the gamers a free vidoe game when they purchase one of the GPUs available.

Two top tier video games are available at no additional cost with the bundle including For Honor and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. NVIDIA says that the GTX 1060 is the recommended GPU for both of those video games and will deliver “amazing” 1080p 60fps performance with high settings. NVIDIA also notes that the in-game benchmarks from both titles show that the GTX 1060 delivers the best performance in its class.

Both of the available video games use NVIDIA Ansel to let gamers capture in-game photos. This feature will get the Ansel tech into the hands of mainstream gamers buying the GTX 1060. Ansel allows gamers to take photos in-game form any position and then adjust the photos with post-process filters, capture HDR images, and then share the screenshots in 360 via smartphones, PC, and VR headsets.

NVIDIA also notes that gamers who want to take advantage of the Prepare for Battle bundle will need to be sure they are buying their GPU from participating retailers. NVIDIA isn’t providing download codes for either games, the games have to come from the participating retailer.
