Sony Xperia XZ Premium Records 960 fps Slow Motion Video
Sony Mobile has launched several new Xperia smartphones at MWC 2017 and the coolest is the firm’s flagship smartphone called the Xperia XZ Premium. The smartphone has a number of cool features, including a 4K resolution screen that fans of VR gaming will appreciate. The 4k screen features HDR, a world’s first according to Sony.
Sony also put lots of tech into the camera of the Xperia XZ Premium smartphone. The big feature of that 19 MP Motion Eye camera is that it is able to record super slow motion video at up to 960 frames per second. That is playback four times slower than any other smartphone on the market. The camera also features Predictive Capture and begins to buffer images before you press the button.
Sony uses an Exmor RS for mobile camera sensor for larger pixels and a G lens for clearer and sharper images. The Xperia XZ Premium uses a Snapdragon 835 processor and supports download speeds up to 1Gbps. Another cool feature for the smartphone is that it is water resistant, dust-proof, and uses Gorilla Glass 5 to protect against cracks and shattered screens.
Audio fans will like that the smartphone supports High-Resolution Audio for the most detailed sound possible. PS4 Remote Play is supported on the Xperia XZ Premium smartphone. I mentioned the Snapdragon 835 chipset, it is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Os is Android 7.0 Nougat. The 4K resolution screen measures 5.5-inches and charging is via a USB Type-C port. The Xperia XZ Premium will launch in late spring 2017 in luminous chrome and deepsea black at an undisclosed price.
