ASUS Announces ZenFone 3 AR
At today’s ASUS keynote, they announced a wide range of new cellular phone models. One of the most exciting mobile devices is the ZenFone 3 AR. It is the first phone to implement both Google’s DayDream VR and Google’s Tango AR platforms. While Tango creates a 3D model of the environment around the device, allowing for some interesting advanced features. DayDream, is Google’s new 3D VR platform, for games, applications and videos, using DayDream compatible headsets.

With Tango, users can turn their environment into a virtual environment, allowing for applications to allow you to interact with the application in a real world situation. ASUS is working with Gap to allow virtual clothes shopping using common body types and sizes, allowing you to zoom into the clothes to see details such as stitching, and how they should look once they are worn.

Hot Wheels is another AR enabled application, that allows users to build custom Hot Wheels tracks within your environment.
