EA Gives Us a Closer Look at Multiplayer in Battlefield 1

During their E3 press conference at EA Play, Electronic Arts gave a preview of some of the big multiplayer features coming to Battlefield 1 including intuitive destruction, dynamic weather, operations, and Behemoths the largest fully player-controlled vehicles in a Battlefield game.

Environmental destruction allows players to strategically level structures. Dynamic weather will impact what can be seen and heard forcing players to adapt their playstyle. Operations introduces series of interconnected multiplayer battles across multiple fronts where actions have influence beyond one match. Finally, Battlefield 1 introduces an all new class of fully player-controlled gameplay vehicles called behemoths: the Armored Train, the Air Ship, and the Battleship.

Battlefield 1 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 21. An opportunity to try out the game for free will occur during an open beta latter this summer.
