Silicon Power Launches Velox V50 SSD
Silicon Power today introduced an addition of the Velox series of Solid-State Drives, the Velox V50. The Velox V50 is said to a brand new SATA III controller, delivering a more stable and more powerful user experiences. We aren’t sure what controller it is using as they didn’t say in the press release, but the V50 can reach up to 530MB/s read and 200MB/s write speeds. The Silicon Power Velox V50 is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities and all are backed by three year warranties.
The Velox V50 features the latest controller technology to provide a brand new computer experience in excellent performance and cost effectiveness for those who are about to retire their traditional hard drives. Combining with the latest firmware and advanced controller circuit design, Velox V50 is able to maintain a long-standing IOPS performance while using it under extended period.
