PowerColor Video Cards Are Windows 8 Fast Boot Ready w/ UEFI Support

TUL Corporation just announced that they have become the first company to offer UEFI ready graphics solutions to gamers. In an attempt to provide full support of the Windows 8 operating system, PowerColor has developed new firmware for the company’s video cards that has UEFI support built-in. This enables fast boot implementation in Microsoft Windows 8. What does this mean? PowerColor says that the addition of the UEFI firmware means that Windows 8 systems can boot and resume faster than without it. All PowerColor UEFI-capable graphics solutions are listed here.
