Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme Laptops Toughness Shown

Dell recently announced the Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme notebook and the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme convertible notebook for customers who need notebooks that can survive unforgiving conditions in the toughest jobs on Earth. Dekk says that these two models have been independently tested and certificated to military MIL-STD-810G, ingress protection and other industry standards. So, if you need a notebook that is designed to drop up to six feet, look no further.

The new Dell rugged notebooks are pretty expensive though as the Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme begins at $3,499 and the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme convertible notebook begins at $3,649 when they will be released in May 2014.
