Taiwan market: Acer debuts 20-inch widescreen Ferrari LCD monitor

Though only currently available in Taiwan and Europe, Acer has released a new 20-inch LCD monitor with Ferrari nuances, aptly named the F20.

Acer, an official supplier to the Scuderia Ferrari racing team, yesterday unveiled its Ferrari 20-inch LCD monitor in Taiwan with a price tag of NT$24,900 (US$738), according to the company. The latest model (F20) which features a native resolution of 1680×1050, a contrast ratio of 800:1 and viewing angle of 176 degrees is now on sales at chain store Tsann Kuen Enterprise in the Taiwan market. The F-20 is currently also available in Europe, Acer said. In the Taiwan market, ViewSonic also recently introduced a widescreen (16:10) 20-inch (VA2012W) LCD monitor priced at NT$16,900 (US$500), while Hewlett-Packard (HP) Taiwan rolled out a 21-inch widescreen LCD monitor with a price tag of NT$21,900 (US$650). Acer is also marketing a widescreen 20-inch LCD monitor (AL2032W ) for NT$17,800 (US$538).
