HP recalls flaming batteries

If anyone reading this has a HP or Compaq notebook, then I would highly recommend they read this article. Batteries in the ever-popular HP Pavilion and in the Compaq Presario, as well as a couple of other models by the two brands, tend to overheat to the point of catching on fire.
Each of the recalled packs has a barcode label starting with GC, IA, L0 or L1 and they were sold between March 2004 and May 2005.
