Best Buy Begins Accepting Orders For BlackBerry PlayBook at $499.99
By
Research In Motion (RIM) announced that the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet can be pre-ordered today. The BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi will come in three models, featuring 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage at $499, $599 and $699 respectively. This is the companies answer to the Apple iPad 2, which went on sale earlier this month, also starting at $499. The PlayBook has a 7-inch screen, smaller than the iPad 2 and doesn’t carry the same following that Apple products do. It will be interesting to see how the BlackBerry Playbook does!
