The Walking Dead: A New Frontier to Hit Shelves on February 28th

Regardless of whether or not we support the Walking Dead TV series, there are a number of ways that these fun and exciting little zombies can make their way into our lives. The type of genre that blends horror and gore together is definitely not for everyone but in some cases there are exceptions. The Walking Dead franchise is more than our beloved television show. The franchise extends to novels, a series of comic books, as well as video games. After playing Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Season One for several hours we noticed that the story is jam packed with drama and the gore is substantially watered down when compared to the television series. Soon, the third season (The Walking Dead: A New Frontier) will hit the shelves on February 28th for $24.99 USD on PC, Phone/tablet, Xbox One, and PS4.

For those of you who have yet to try out any of the games in The Walking Dead franchise here’s a short summary on the gameplay one could expect: The game follows a single character and the player chooses between different responses, actions, and friendships. This will lead players on entirely different paths from one another. Although there isn’t too much action, the exciting and engaging story line is what really pulls the players in. Say the wrong thing and those who were once your allies could slowly start to question your loyalty. So, just like in real life, every decision you make will alter the course of the story but like any other game, do it because it’s fun!
